Windows and doors for historic houses, heritage projects and revitalization

We create wooden joinery with a historical and regional character. Our work is dedicated to individuals and institutions involved in the preservation and adaptation of wooden houses, manor houses, villas, townhouses, and rural architecture. We do not produce catalogue joinery or modern industrial-standard products.

Box windows and traditional windows

We specialize in box windows crafted according to traditional construction and proportions. We preserve proper sections and profiles, use high-quality wood, traditional hinges, muntins, and hand glazing with putty.
The inner sashes can be adapted for single or double glazing, depending on the needs and the character of the building.

Exterior and interior doors

We make frame-and-panel doors, plank doors, or doors integrated with decorative casings. Details such as rabbets, grooves, wedges, or hinges are reproduced according to originals or documentation. Replicas can also be made.

Traditional regional patterns and motifs

We offer joinery with elements characteristic of specific historical regions, including overpanels, triangular pediments, flutings, decorative panels, and carvings. The designs are developed based on field research or archival examples.

Traditional finishing methods

We finish surfaces by hand, using natural oil paints, impregnations, pigmented oils, or ecological paints (such as Farrow & Ball, Ottosson).

We do not use industrial varnishes.

When needed, we adjust the level of finishing to allow further work on site, for example preparation for painting after installation.

Documentation and measurements

We prepare technical drawings, profiles, 3D models (SKP, DXF), and joinery documentation based on existing elements or archival materials. On-site measurements can also be carried out.

Who is this joinery intended for?

We create our windows and doors for:

  • owners of old houses and country homes,

  • people involved in revitalization projects and slow life initiatives.

  • conservators and architects working with heritage,

  • B2B clients and institutions involved in restoration works,

  • all those who need solutions rooted in tradition rather than catalogues.
